hi bocce fans, it's the middle of winter, but i am currently staring out the window (and typing, alternately) at my back yard and feeling anxious to get out there and toss some balls around. this year will be the twelfth annual tournament. isn't "twelfth" just about the weirdest word you've ever seen? i can't get over it. sorry. anyways, now that we've had a chance to feel out the change of venue (i still kind of miss playing at city hall, but the band shell offers many advantages too), i want to make this next tourney really cook. any ideas are welcome, please let me know via the message board. i am thinking the following: circus tents, elephant rides, popcorn machines, car chases, tax help, etc.
